Cabell County Primary Certification Anticipated
Thursday Recount Request Deadline

Huntington, WV (HNN) – Following the mandated vote canvas provided by law, the Cabell County Commission plans to meet at 9:55 a.m. Thursday, May 27 to certify the election, if no candidate asks for a recount.
The commissioners, acting as the Cabell County Board of Canvassers, completed a hand count of four randomly chosen precincts Tuesday, May 18, and made primary election results official.
Candidates now have until Thursday, May 20 to request a recount. They must call Cabell County Clerk Karen Cole’s office, 304-526-8625.
