Funny Bone Closed This Week

Huntington, WV (HNN) – The Pullman Square comedy club drawn infamously into the arrest of comedian Andy Dick will be closed this weekend. Huntington’s Funny Bone had scheduled Brad Williams for appearances May 6-May 9.
Next week, Tim Wilson has been scheduled.
According to a report in the Herald-Dispatch, franchise owner Thomas Schaefer said that the second floor Pullman Square club had to “handle an issue.” The report said that Bill Dargusch, co-owner of Metropolitan Partners, which leases the property to the Funny Bone, declined comment.
After Dick’s January arrest, Schaefer posted the comedian’s bond freeing him from the Western Regional Jail. He still faces two felony sexual abuse charges stemming from the incident at Rumrunners.
The Funny Bone website is still in operation with a full May schedule. Their answering machine indicated that ticket sales are on-going and asked for callers to leave their name and number.
