Lucas Outraised Maynard Again

Huntington, WV (HNN) -- Based on Federal Election Commission results filed through both April 21 and April 28, 2010, Conrad G. Lucas III continued to lead Elliott “Spike” Maynard in fundraising.
Lucas raised $55,711 compared to $52,250 for Maynard through April 21.
Lucas, a former aide to Rep. Shelley Capito (R-WV), is currently a Huntington attorney. Maynard is a former justice on the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals.
Fellow GOP Congressional District 3 primary contenders Lee Bias amassed $33,798 (as of April 28) and Marty Gearheart had $5,134 reported (as of March 31). Bias reported a debt of $11,343 and Gearheart $3,609. Neither Lucas or Maynard have reported debts.
Incumbent Congressman Nick Rahall reported $634,315 in receipts.
