Chad Pennington at Green-White Game

Huntington, WV (HNN) -- The Green team won over the White team 17-14 at Joan C. Edwards Stadium on Saturday afternoon in the Marshall spring football scrimmage.
This year NFL quarterback Chad Pennington and former Marshall football legend was on the field promoting Marshall football. A concert with the group Giorana performed on a stage set up in front of the stands.
A total of 11,819 fans came out to see the football team under the direction of new coach Doc Holiday under the threat of rain. It was the second largest crowd at a Green White football game.
Giorana performed first. Kala DeHart sang the National Anthem.. The football team then scrimmaged for a half. Giorana performed again.
The team came out to finish the second half and then the rain came.
