Huntington, WV (HNN) -- Chapman-Martin Excavation & Grading, Inc., the construction company installing the sewer line in the Enslow Park area of Huntington encountered a major sink hole on Wednesday, April 28. In trying to repair this hole a water line collapsed.

Due to this, the residents of this area are without water. West Virginia American Water Company has been notified and is working diligently to restore water to this area. They hope to have water restored later this evening. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

Because of the problems in this area, the Huntington Sanitary Board has called in our engineering firm and will be reviewing this project. We will release further information as soon as it becomes available.
