UCF Wins Twice Over Marshall Softball Playing at Home

Huntington, WV (HNN) - The Marshall University softball team went down to defeat twice at the hands of Conference USA opponent University of Central Florida on Saturday afternoon at Dot Hicks Softball Field.
In the first game Marshall and UCF were tied 0-0 until the fourth inning when UCF erupted for nine runs. Marshall was able to score one run in the fifth inning.
Marshall showed better play in the second game making the game go eight innings before UCF prevailed 8-4.
