Huntington, WV (HNN) -- Many families came to Ritter Park at 10 a.m. on Saturday morning, April 3, 2010 to take part in the annual Easter Egg Hunt.
Once the signal to start was issued, it did not take long for the eggs to disappear as children gathered the eggs. There were three age groups that participated with areas roped off for each group.
Lines were long at the picnic shelter as children came to get awards and prizes from the eggs. Mother and Dads often could be seen helping and directing the children.
The Optimist Club of Huntington sponsored the event. Radio station Bob FM 101.5 provided entertainment for the event.
