The City of Huntington will take further steps this week to collect delinquent municipal fee, refuse fee, and business and occupation tax (B&O) payments.

For municipal fee and refuse fee customers, the City will release to the media on Friday, Feb. 5, a list of name and addresses of municipal service fee and refuse fee accounts which are delinquent in excess of $500. These accounts will be subject to a lien filing should the responsible party not make payment in full within 90 days. Citizens should contact Rossman and Company at 1-800-250-8935 to make payment arrangements.

For business and occupation tax customers, the City will mail past-due letters on Friday, Feb. 5, to delinquent B&O taxpayers. Taxpayers will have 10 days to make payments for any past-due quarters or face assessment, lien filings and collection from Bailes, Craig & Yon, PLLC.

Delinquent taxpayers should contact the City’s License and Tax auditors by calling 304-696-5969. Additional forms are available on the City website at http://www.cityofhuntington.com/pages/pdfs/B-OForm2009.pdf.
