Spring Hill Elementary Closed Monday and Tuesday due to Fire

Spring Hill Elementary will be closed for students Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 21 and 22 due to a small fire at the school.
The fire occurred in the school's elevator shaft and activated some of the building's sprinkler systems. County maintenance crews will work Monday and Tuesday to repair any damage and to prepare the school to reopen after the Christmas break.
The school's staff will also not report on Monday, however should stand by for instructions regarding attendance Tuesday.
All other Cabell County schools remain open and on a regular schedule.
