Vets Stump for Clean Energy
Networks Ignore Alleged Evidence of Global Coaling

Huntington, WV (HNN) – Veterans supporting clean energy will travel by bus from Huntington to Vienna and Wheeling , Monday, December 7. They will hold press conferences at all locations. They will visit WVU and Clarksburg, Tuesday, December 8, and visit the state capitol in Charleston and Beckley for press events , December 9.
The participants represent Operation Free, a coalition of veterans and national security organizations highlighting threats of climate change and global warming. See: http://www.operationFree.net .
Following a November appearance , the Star Beacon wrote, that “Ohio’s contribution to carbon dioxide from burning fossil fuels increased by ten percent from 1990 to 2007,” based on Environment Ohio. Nationally, Ohio ranks second (Texas is #1) in coal fire emissions. http://www.operationfree.net/news-and-events/news
However, the so-called climate-gate scandal which rebukes the alleged myth of global warming places the cap and trade with other fossil fuel emission issues. Actually, the story began by the ‘hacking’ of global temperature annals of East Anglia University , where experts struggled to “reconcile readings from weather stations around the world,” the Nov. 30 NY Times article stated.
Speculation has mostly said “hacked” but a few reports suggest a “leak” of these e-mails that have the chief scientific experts credibility at stake for seemingly expressing ‘done deal’ statements to media but in communications among themselves they ponder global coaling data and how to spin it hot.
Or, let this background from the Times, quickly add perspective. Scientist and/or computer geek “Harry” worried about “the integrity” of the climate database from which “scientists email one another with strategies for blocking outsiders’ legal requests to see their data.”
Instead, “scientists confidently make proclamations to journalists, jetting to conferences and plotting revenge against the dangers of global warming, when a journal publishes a skeptics paper the scientists e-mail one another and ignore it. They focus instead on retaliation against the journal and the editor… These researchers, some of the most prominent climate experts in Britain and America, seem so focused on wi.nning the public-relations war that they exaggerate their certitude — and ultimately undermine their own cause.”
Meanwhile, Media Research Center, a nonprofit watchdog over mainstream media , has issued numerous inquiring statements: Why have not the major news networks cover the “leak” and/or “hack?” And, the scientists are claiming if there is only a ten percent risk of global warming, the “risk” is still worth any and all preventive measures.
Media Research has called the news blackout as “ClimateGate Held Hostage” and “The Left’s Climategate a scandal for journalism too.” SEE: http://www.mrc.org/biasalert/2009/20091204111405.aspx and http://www.mediaresearch.org/realitycheck/realitycheck/2009/20091203094216.aspx
MSNBC on Friday aggressively entered the debate, suggesting global warming expert scientists “appear to be hiding something.”
