Jamie Oliver Cook-a-Thon Tuesday at Pullman Square

Huntington, WV (HNN) -- Celebrity chef and reality show host Jamie Oliver will participate at a cook-a-thon next week. The event will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, at Pullman Square.
The goal is to get 1,000 people cooking in one week. Organizers encourage others to grab a friend and come learn to cook dishes.
The event is free and open to the public. Those attending the event should RSVP by e-mail with the number of attendees and their preferred time. A cooking session will begin every 30 minutes starting at 2 p.m.

Oliver and a crew from ABC have been shooting scenes for the reality series for the last two months. Filming will continue into November. The series is expected to air in 2010.
