WV's First Batteries Plus Store Opening Monday in Cross Lanes

Cross Lanes, WV (HNN) — Batteries Plus, the nation’s largest retail chain focused on the expanding $24 billion battery category, announced the opening Monday, Oct. 26, 2009 of its newest franchise location in Cross Lanes, WV. The new Cross Lanes store, located at 314 Goff Mountain Road, will offer consumers and businesses in the community a one-stop source to fulfill all of their battery needs. It's the first Batteries Plus location in the Mountain State.

I look forward to meeting the ongoing battery needs of the Cross Lanes community, from the consumer seeking simple batteries for common items or automotive needs, to the business owner or large entity needing ongoing, more complex battery services.” In a telephone interview, McDavid told HNN that he attended Marshall University and worked in construction for 35 years. He was a student at Marshall when the football team plane crashed on Nov. 14, 1970.
