Mayor Meets Fox News Icon, Legendary County Performer

Huntington, WV (HNN) – Huntington Mayor Kim Wolfe comes from conservative roots. So , it’s not surprising that the esteemed “Honorable Mayor Wolfe” would join about 100,000 people for the first “Friends of America” rally and concert in Holden, Logan County, W.Va.
Hank Williams Jr., Fox News Sean Hannity, Ted Nugent and John Rich were just some of the singers and speakers at the rally which provided an opportunity for Don Blankenship (Massey Coal) to share his views about the “cap and trade Ponzi scheme.”
Whether you like the verbose Blankenship or not, another hundred or so businesses and individuals sponsored the event, which boasted the workers of America. Coal continues fueling West Virginia’s economy allowing cheaper electricity and obviously jobs for the miners.
Sean Hannity has been a powerful voice against President Obama’s health care proposals and the exposure of proposed Green Job Czar Van Jones’ radical past , but he’s also landed exclusive interviews with Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, Dick Morris, and Don and Deirdre Imus. He’s currently pushing an expose of controversial community organizing group, ACORN, secretly videotaped providing advice on lying to the IRS to individuals posting as a pimp and prostitute such as listing her occupation as a “performing artist.”
Prior to election as Huntington’s mayor, Wolfe served two terms as Cabell County Sheriff. He also implemented the horse patrol while a member of the Huntington Police Department.
