Clay Center Announces Six Production Broadway Series

Charleston, WV (HNN) -- Six shows will grace the Clay Center stage during the 2009-2010 Broadway in Charleston, which begins Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. with “Irving Berlin’s I Love A Piano.” Capturing the spirit of Ragtime rhythms through two World Wars to the optimism of the 50s, “Piano” includes timeless classics such as “White Christmas,” “Puttin’ on the Ritz,” and “There’s No Business Like Show Business.”
 
The line up includes “The Wedding Singer” (Oct. 18, 7 p.m.), “Cirque Dreams Illumination” (Dec. 9 , 7:30 p.m.), the magical return of “Cats” (January 6, 2010, 7:30 p.m.), “Cabaret” (Feb. 5, 8 p.m.) , and ,finally, a trip down the yellow brick road for “The Wizard of Oz” ( April 5, 2010 7:30 p.m. ).
 
Subscription packages run $150 to $260.
