Service Restored to West Virginia American Water Customers in Huntington
Boil water advisory remains in effect until further notice
Charleston, WV (HNN) – Water service has been restored to West Virginia American Water customers in Huntington.
Customers in this area had lost water service or experienced low water pressure Friday evening due to a water main near the company’s Huntington Water Treatment Plant on 24th Street. Service was fully restored by 3 a.m. Saturday.
A boil water advisory issued as a precaution Friday evening remains in effect until further notice. Water quality samples will be taken starting Saturday morning.
West Virginia American Water thanks its customers for their patience and cooperation during this event. Customers are encouraged to share this information with other West Virginia American Water customers in the affected area.
