Huntington, WV (HNN) - Huntington Saint Joe girl's basketball team came out of the locker room in about two minutes at the half ready to start the third period while their opponent Winfield tried to figure out how to over come a 32 point deficit to tie the game in two periods.
That was the situation at Veteran's Memorial Field House on Saturday afternoon as both teams played for the championship in the girl's bracket at the 32nd. Annual St. Joseph's Central Catholic High School Invitational Basketball Tournament.
The St. Joe cheering section was cheering single digit as Winfield just made it to 11 points to St. Joe's 43 points to end the second period of play.

Winfield did manage to increase their point production by 28 points in periods three and four more than doubling their 11 points scored in periods one and two.
Wayne High School defeated Lakeside Christian Academy 64-57 to win the consolation game.
