Cabell Huntington Hospital Opens 24-hour Center for Patients Being Transferred

Huntington, WV (HNN) --- Cabell Huntington Hospital recently opened a Patient Transfer Center to make it easier for physicians to transfer their patients for care.
The Cabell Huntington Hospital Patient Transfer Center is open 24 hours a day seven days a week to accommodate any patient who needs to be transferred from another facility to Cabell Huntington.
A specially trained team of critical care nurses operates the Patient Transfer Center, providing a unique service for patients that begins with a phone call to request the transfer. From there, Cabell Huntington patient transfer coordinators arrange for ambulance or air transportation for the patient and then follow their care while they are a patient at the hospital.
The Cabell Huntington Hospital Patient Transfer Center is now open for business and is easy to use. Physicians or their representatives call 1-877-531-2CHH (2244) for around-the-clock assistance from a dedicated team of patient transfer coordinators. The team will expedite adult and pediatric transfers from start to finish.
