Say It Ain’t So Moe… Not Again!

Huntington, WV (HNN) – According to a suit filed July 10, 2008, the reopened Moe’s Southwest Grill has a repeat problem with the landlord, Metropolitan Huntington. The Pullman Square developer claims that Lataralus, LLC and Barbara Wood again owe back rent on the restaurant at 912 Third Avenue.
Previously, Moe’s closed the location due to a rent dispute. After negotiations, the parties entered into a new lease on November 7, 2007.
The complaint asks for immediate possession of the property and the ejection of Moe’s from the premises.
According to the WV Record, Moe’s owes approximately $18,000. The lease provided for rental amounts on a sliding scale that increase during various years of the lease.
