Huntington members of national political action group MoveOn.org did Sunday what they do best: organize. They brought their cell phones to Gourmet To Go Coffee House, 4756 Rt.60 E., to make calls to people they didn't know for one of an estimated 2,000 such 'Yes We Can' house and coffee house parties across the country in support of Obama. What they did know was that the organizers had lists of on-the-fence Texas Democrats and independents in the Houston area for them to call, along with scripts of tips for those voters in the Lone Star State who might not know that for instance, in that state's unusual Democratic primary system, voters have to vote twice, once in a closed primary and again in an open caucus. The callers plan was to boost Barack's Tuesday turnout with their calls. Texas and and Ohio both vote Tuesday and the races are dead heats.
