Blues Traveler Lisa Bouchelle
National recording artists Blues Traveler ( http://www.bluestraveler.com/ ) are touring with fellow New Jersey-ite and Universal Recording artist Lisa Bouchelle, ( www.lisabouchelle.com.) and they both rocked Monkey Bar (http://www.monkeybarlive.com/) in Huntington, Tuesday night.
Blues Traveler is loved by fans for their improvised jams-live shows and perhaps best known for harmonica player/singer john Popper. Lisa Bouchelle is being compared to Sheryl Crow and KT Tunstall.
Monkey Bar's Herman Beaver says this is just the beginning for bringing bigger name acts to town. Next bigger name up: Nonpoint, with Skindred, Ankla and Karnivool on November 1st.
When Blues Traveler last came to Monkey Bar, they nearly sold out the place, packing over 800 into the warehouse-like space. That was on a weekend, so Beaver said they weren't surprised to sell "only" about 400 for Tuesday's concert.
