WEEKEND FIRST: Movie Comings and Goings

Huntington, WV (HNN) – It’s the weekend before the summer tent pole kickoff, as “Iron Man 2” debuts May 7. According to advance movie ticket sales nationwide, the newest Marvel superhero release has already prompted numerous sell outs.
Meanwhile, although the 2010 Appalachian Film Festival is in the can, the WV International Film Fest opens Friday in Charleston.
And, the (Discount) Cinema in Downtown Huntington expands their popular “flashback” series to a one-week double feature of “The Warriors” and the Bruce Lee “Enter the Dragon” films. After the one-week double feature, Flashback Monday will resume with a third collection of favorites, ranging from “Jaws” and “Terminator” to “The African Queen.”
