WV Gospel Group Inducted into Christian Music Hall of Fame

Huntington, WV (HNN) – Having performed southern gospel music quartet style for over 56 years, The Gospel Harmony Boys have been inducted into the prestigious Christian Music Hall of Fame in Dallas, Texas. Others inducted include Christian music legends The Oak Ridge Boys, The Jordanaires, Michael W. Smith, The Cathedrals, Mahalia Jackson, Pat Boone, Bill Gaither, and The Statler Brothers. To celebrate the honor with Tri State friends and fans, The Gospel Harmony Boys have a reunion and celebration concert Saturday, Nov. 8, at 7:00 at the Jean Stephenson City Auditorium in Huntington. Tickets $5.00.
Past members of the Harmony Boys will join them along with Bloodline, Sincere, The Adkins Brothers and The Guardians. Former Harmony Boys will sing some of the songs that helped establish the quartet’s inspirational popularity throughout the years.
Tenor Clacy Williams hailed their introduction into the hall of fame. “What a wonderful experience to be part of such a huge, two-day celebration event and have it culminate by being asked to perform during the awards show.”
