Huntington, WV (HNN) – When the Comic-Con comes to San Diego, film and television producers and stars flock to meet fans. They often introduce new concepts, new series, new flicks and interviews with famous stars and directors visiting the convention.
The Warner Bros. Television Group (WBTVG) is making it possible for fans around the world to attend Comic-Con 2010 – at least virtually – by creating nearly 50 exclusive video reports direct from the convention. If you can’t make it to San Diego in person, never fear: WBTVG will take you to the convention floor, into panel sessions and behind the scenes.
Here are a couple of examples:
William Shatner achieved iconic status as Captain Kirk in the “Star Trek” series that spawned spin-offs and sequels. Now, he’s headed to CBS in a new series, “$#*! MY DAD SAYS”
In addition, you can learn a little buzz from the “inside” of the popular, “Big Bang Theory.”
Meanwhile, you can take a peek at “Young Justice,” which introduces super heroes in their teen years, such as Kid Flash, Superboy, Aqualad and others. Another show to come, New Looney Toons, on the Cartoon Network where the adventures of famous toons like Bugs and Daffy will fill a half hour block, not just a seven minute toon length.
Further, examples of the scheduled reports include:
Conversations with cast members and producers of television series including “The Big Bang Theory,” “Chuck,” “Fringe,” “Human Target,” “Nikita,” “Smallville,” “Supernatural,” “V,” “The Vampire Diaries,” “Childrens Hospital,” “Unnatural History,” “Batman: The Brave and the Bold,” “MAD” and “Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated”
Inside looks at feature films including “Green Lantern” and “Sucker Punch”
Coverage of videogame releases including “F.E.A.R. 3,” “Mortal Kombat,” “The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn’s Quest,” “Super Scribblenauts” and “Lego Harry Potter”
Exclusive interviews with DC Comics’ own Jim Lee, Geoff Johns and Dan DiDio
Home entertainment releases on both Blu-ray™ and DVD, including the upcoming “Secret Origin: The History of DC Comics,” “Batman: Under the Red Hood,” “Clash of the Titans,” “Cop Out” and “Peanuts Turn 60”
Exclusive insider looks behind the scenes at Warner Bros Studios
And, of course, reactions from the fans at the show
