X-Fest 2002 Bands Announced!!!

After months and months of waiting Tri-State rock fans now have their number one question answered. Who is going to be at X-fest 2002?

Each year local rock station WAMX 106.3 gets together an all-day rock concert at Harris River Front Park. This is usually the biggest concert Huntington has each year, averaging about 10,000 people every year.

Tri-State rock fans have been wondering for months who would play this years show. X106.3 teased the rock maniacs by telling them that they had the most intense and hardest band too ever take an X-Fest stage booked this year. This got the fans guessing, maybe even yourself.

Well if you guessed Hatebreed, then you are correct. The heavy metal band from Connecticut will roll into Harris River Front Park on September 28th straight off of Ozzfest 2002.

The rock station also announced that they have booked 3rd Strike and Flaw for this all-day extravaganza. More bands will be announced as the show gets closer.

This wild day of rock music will take place on September 28th at Huntington's Harris River Front Park. Tickets are onsale now at all ticketmaster locations, including the Huntington Civic Arena Box Office for $20. Tickets will be $25 at the gate the day of the show. Gates will open at noon. The rockin' will begin at 1 PM.
