WWE STARS RETURN TO HCA RING

Tri-State fans watch it on television each week. They dream of seeing
it live without driving 3 hours. Finally, after 2 years, World Wrestling
Entertainment, who recently changed its name from World Wrestling Federation
due to copyright problems, invaded the Huntington Civic Arena on Saturday
night.
The night of wrestling got underway with West Virginia's own Jamie Noble,
taking on Tajiri and The Hurricane for the World Cruiserweight Title.
Noble came up short and Hurricane retained his title, but Jamie will get
another chance at the belt tonight in Columbus, at King of the Ring, live
on Pay-Per-View.
The crowed stayed pumped as they saw superstars such as Val Venis, Billy
Kidman, Lance Storm, Christian, Test and many more of their favorite Smackdown
stars do battle in the ring.
The first of the final 3 matches really got the crowd going as "Olympic
Hero" Kurt Angle came out to a Huntington crowd chanting "you
suck" as his music played. His opponent, Rikishi, came out dancing
as the 500-pound man made his way down the aisle. Rikishi picked up the
win in this hard fought match, which was outside the ring just as much
as it was inside the ring. After the match Rikishi proceeded to give Angle
his signature move, the Stink Face, before he began to dance for the Huntington
crowd along with the referee.
Next up was what every man had been waiting for. The bra and panties match
between Stacy Kiebler and Torrie Wilson. Ivory was the special guest referee
for this match-up. The quick match got started by both girls wrestling
down to the mat and pulling each other's shirts off, much to the delight
of the mostly male audience. They continued to do battle until Torrie
rolled Stacy up and pulled her shorts off for the win. After the match
Torrie pulled Ivory's pants down, as the crowd cheered for all 3 women
to end the match.
It was now time for the Main Event. A steel cage match between Triple
H and Chris Jericho. The match stayed fast paced, as Jericho tried to
escape the 15-foot steel structure several times to no avail. Triple H
was eventually able to pick up the pin after Billy and Chuck ran down
to the ring with a steel chair in hand. Billy and Chuck paid the price
afterwards, when Triple H gave Chuck his finishing move, the Pedigree,
before leaving the two lying on top of each other.
