Interfaith Prayer Breakfast
From a press release

Huntington, W.Va.- Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers Network, Inc. will conduct its annual Prayer Breakfast on Thursday, February 14th from 8:00 am to 9:15 am.

The breakfast, hosted by St. Mary’s Hospital, will be held in Room 2109 of the hospital. The public is invited, although seating is limited. Please call 697-1274 to make a reservation to attend.

Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers Network, Inc., a Faith in Action program, is a volunteer organization providing vital non-medical services to the elderly and adults with disabilities in Cabell and northern Wayne counties in West Virginia, and Lawrence County, Ohio. IVCN encourages individuals to attend the breakfast to celebrate the ministry, the work of the volunteer caregivers, and to learn more about IVCN’s impact on the community during 2001.

The Prayer Breakfast is part of a weeklong celebration of interfaith volunteer caregiving across the state of West Virginia from February 11th through the 17th. Interfaith volunteer caregiving ministries daily touch the lives of thousands of individuals with chronic illness. The week’s celebration will culminate with Caregiver Sabbath/Sunday. Congregations are provided resource material and encouraged to take a few moments during their worship services to recognize the important work of family and volunteer caregivers.

For more information on these activities, or to register for the Breakfast, please call 697-1274, or 877-367-1271.
