We have an update on the homicide we reported to you this morning.
Huntington Police have identified the body of 35- year old Ben Lucas.
He was found by a man passing by in front of a home at 2244 Harvey Road Wednesday night. Lucas was renovating that home.
Police are not releasing the cause of death, though neighbors said they heard several gunshots around 11 p.m. Tuesday night, about the time detectives believe Lucas was killed.
Those gunshots were not reported, neighbors said, because gunshots are common in the area.
The West Virginia Medical examiner is conducting an autopsy on Lucas's body.
