Charleston, W.V.a.-- A man from our region facing murder charges is scheduled to stand trial Monday, April 16.

A man caught in Charleston will have his day in court today. Robert Springsteen is charged with the murders of four teenage girls, according to Charleston authorities.
The family of Springsteen has always claimed he's innocent.  His wife, among other family members lobbied the governor to keep him here with candlelight vigils and courtroom pleas.
However, on November 11, 1999, Austin police officers took Springsteen to Texas.  The trial in Austin starts Monday, April 16. If convicted, Springsteen could face the death penalty.
