Open House For Tri-State Airport

Sunday 12:00-4:00 PM


 An Open House is scheduled for the Tri-State Airport, Sunday Noon to 4:00pm. Citizens are invited to attend this open house and will have an opportunity to see not only the radar room, runway and other airport facitlities, but also folks can view the important Control Tower where all the exciting events of Flight Control happen.

The Tri-State Airport's history started in 1949, and has grown immensly since it's opening. Although the Airport hasn't had an open house in a few years, they are making up for it with this event.

There will be entertainment provided by the C-K Alumni Band Reprise, The Singing Kerneld, Daddy Cha Cha, Michael Moore (Country Artist), and Joyful Noise from Kenova United Methodist Church. Hot dogs and Soft Drinks will be offered, as well as free parking and shuttle rides.

There will be door prizes, which include a round trip airline tickets on US Airways, bikes, skybox tickets for the Marshall Games, 18 hole golf complimentary tickets,and Logenberger gifts.

Included in the entertainment will be, games for the kids and adults alike. Face painting, clowns and balloon artists will also be on site.
