BASEBALL CARD SHOW GIVES ARENA SPRING SPIRIT

Just in time for the opening of Major League Baseball Spring Training in both Florida and Arizona, Baseball Cards and More will host their monthly baseball card and memorabilia show this Saturday at the Huntington Civic Arena Conference Center, located adjacent to the Huntington Civic Arena in downtown Huntington.

Dealers from throughout the Tri-State area will be displaying a wide array of baseball cards and authentic autographed merchandise. There will be cards ranging from the early 1900’s to the latest 2002 card sets. Additionally, dealers will offer football, basketball, hockey, and NASCAR cards as well as a full assortment of other collectible items

This month’s highlight will be a complete selection of items featuring New England Patriot standout and former Marshall Thundering Herd star Troy Brown. Brwon was instrumental in the Patriots miraculous playoff run and Super Bowl title. The show will have items spotlighting Brown from both his collegiate and professional playing days including Herd programs and pocket schedules as well as NFL trading cards, Patriot mini-helmets, Super Bowl photos and more.

“This is really turning into a great event for the sport enthusiasts,” Civic Arena General Manager Pete Wenzel said. “Each month there is something new for fans of virtually any sport to come and see and we’re looking forward to Saturday’s show being another quality show.”

The show will be open from 9:30 am – 4:30 pm and admission is free to the public. The event is coordinated by Baseball Cards and More, located on 3rd Avenue in Downtown Huntington
