See a Play at the Museum This Weekend

Looking for something to do this weekend? You could take a trip to the Huntington Museum of Art and see a classic play for less than the price of a movie.

Free Spirit Productions and the Huntington Museum of Art are set to present the famed Tennessee Williams play THE GLASS MENAGERIE Friday and Saturday night at 8:00pm and Sunday afternoon at 2:00pm. Tickets are only $6 and can be purchased at the door.

The cast features four Marshall University students: Tressa Preston, Aimee Cox, Jonathan Joy, and Eric Wilson. It is directed by Jonathan Joy, who also teaches acting at the Museum and the Paramount Arts Center.

THE GLASS MENAGERIE is one of the best plays of the modern theatre written by America's best dramatist - Tennessee Williams.

Free Spirit Productions is a regional performing arts company celebrating its fourth season of live theatre in the Tri-State area. THE GLASS MENAGERIE will mark the organizations fifth production in four summers. Previous shows include MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING and TWELFTH NIGHT by William Shakespeare, A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE by Tennessee Williams and SIMPLY SELMA, a new play premiered last summer.

Join Free Spirit Productions at the Huntington Museum of Art this weekend and enjoy the show!
