The Huntington Fire Department will host the the Fire Prevention Parade in
downtown Huntington at 7 pm this evening.

The parade, which is the 47th annual, will begin at 12th street and 4th
avenue and continue on 4th avenue until 8th street.

Huntington and Fairland High School's marching bands will provide a musical
backdrop to the event. Fire patrols from Cabell and Wayne counties along
with various other units will also be on hand.

A memorial will be set up all day starting at 10 am with a memorial service
at 6:30 pm in front of Elks Lodge at 1015 4th avenue prior to the parade.

Guests scheduled to appear at the event are Mayor Felinton, Fire Cheif Greg
Fuller and the guests of honor Kenneth and Sharon Ambrose.
