CRAWFORD BENEFIT CONCERT TONIGHT
HNN Staff

Last month we reported to you the sad story of the murder of Deanna Crawford. The 21-year-old was found murdered in the Salt Rock area, August 8.

Some members of the Cabell County community are doing their part to put a happy ending to the story.
Tonight at 6, Hillbilly Hotdogs will host a benefit event to pay for Crawford's funeral expenses.

Robert Trippett and his Country Express Band will play their hearts out in concert, there will be a 50/50 drawing, a raffle will be held, and the quirky famous hotdog stand will donate 25 percent of their proceeds for Crawford's funeral. The stand has been collecting money in jars on the counter for weeks.

Hillbilly Hotdogs is owned by a pair of entrepreneurs with a definite sense of humor, Sonny and Sharie
Knight, people who strongly believe in helping people in need. Last month they raised $1,300 for a Cabell County woman who is fighting cancer. And shortly after the 9-11 terrorist attacks, they raised $1,000 for victims in New York City.

For more information about the concert, please call Robert Trippett at 762-2400 or Hillbilly Hotdogs at 762-2458. Hillbilly Hotdogs is located at 6951 Ohio River Road.
