Huntington may lose more jobs.
ACF Industries may close its doors and lay off about 45 workers by the end of the year.
Company President Roger Winthrop blames the layoffs on the lack of orders of rail cars for next year.
The company has downsized by 400 workers in the past two years
All of the lost jobs have had an impact on the local economy.
"They used to come in for breakfast,"" said Roxanne Taylor, of Huntington, a former counter girl at Burger King. "They had to cut back my hours because the guys weren't coming in to BK anymore."
"My brother used to work at ACF," said Carla Carvin,, of Guyandotte. "He was there 10 years. It's a shame to see what's happened to ACF."
