Groundbreaking Slated For "M" Club Pavilion Project
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Officials from Marshall University's "M"
Club and the Marshall University Athletic Department will break ground
for a 1,000-square-foot, open-air pavilion during a 2 p.m. ceremony Wednesday,
June 19, at Marshall University Stadium.
The new facility will be constructed adjacent to the "M" Club
Wall of Legacy at the stadium's southeast corner. When construction is
finished later this summer, the pavilion will serve as a gathering spot
for athletic association events, social occasions, and other Marshall
club,
organization and group activities.
