WRESTLING BACK IN THE TRI-STATE

Professional wrestling is coming back to the Huntington Civic Arena for
the first time in nearly two years as a summer date is set for the squared
circle bad boys to return.
World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), formerly known as the World Wrestling
Federation, brings the Smackdown show back to Huntington on Saturday,
June 22 for a 7:30 pm professional wrestling extravaganza.
The WWE announced their new name, complete with a new logo design, earlier
this week and with the announcement comes a full schedule of new summer
dates through the country, including the Huntington date.
Wrestling is one of the most requested events by the Tri-State community,
Civic Arena General Manager Pete Wenzel said. Bringing the WWE back
to the arena is something weve been working on for quite a while
and I am thrilled everything has finally come together that enables us
to add a great show to our summer schedule.
At this stage, the lineup for the event is still being coordinated by
WWE management. That lineup is expected to be announced prior to tickets
going on sale on Saturday, June 1st at the Huntington Civic Arena Box
Office and all Ticketmaster outlets. Civic Arena management is also looking
to coordinate an internet pre-sale of tickets as well.
Tickets for the show will be priced at $40.50 for the show best seats.
Other tickets will be priced at $30.50, $20.50, and $15.50. For more information
regarding the show, fans may log on to www.hcarena.com.
