CMT TO PAY HUNTINGTON A VISIT

Huntington will get an up-close and personal look at the world of country music this weekend when the Huntington Civic Arena welcomes The CMT: Country Music Television Promotional Truck to town as part of the Kenny Chesney No Shirt, No Shoes, No Problem Concert.

Both CMT and Chesney will stop in the Tri-State this Saturday. The CMT Promotional Truck will greet fans starting at 5:30 pm in front of the Civic Arena. The 53-foot, fifth wheel mobile unit, features a video wall of monitors showing the newest country music videos. The truck also includes two private viewing stations where fans can watch their favorite CMT programs. Both the wall and the viewing stations feature state-of-the-art DVD audio and video.

Staff members of the promotional truck will also conduct several games with fans having the opportunity to win hats, t-shirts, and other prizes. Admission to the promotional truck is free.

Chesney appears in concert with special guests Sara Evans and Carolyn Dawn Johnson in the arena at 7:30 pm. Both Chesney and Evans sport singles in the Billboard Top 20. Chesney’s “Young,” the lead single from the upcoming CD No Shirt, No Shirts, No Problem checks in at number 10 while Evans’ “Saints and Angels” sits at number 16.

Concert tickets are still on sale at the Civic Arena Box Office, all Ticketmaster locations and online at www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets are priced at $35.50 and $29 for the show.
