ON LAND OR BY SEA – IT’S ALL AT THE CIVIC ARENA
from a press release

While temperatures may not be quite warm enough to put the boat into the water or to stake out a campsite and build a campfire, the mood is just right to begin thinking about those adventurous summertime activities. This weekend, the annual Huntington Boat & RV Show pitches its tent in the Huntington Civic Arena with a wide array of the summer fun items on display.

Representatives of the top dealers in the State of West Virginia will be on hand, displaying the latest in watercraft, camping equipment, and other warm-weather pleasure items. A vast assortment of boats, jet skis, campers, recreation vehicles, camping equipment, all-terrain vehicles, riding lawn mowers, and landscaping equipment will be included in the show.

Additionally, the West Virginia State Parks system will be on hand with destination information while the U.S. Coast Guard will discuss boat safety issues.

“For people who are thinking about a new boat, camper, or RV this is definitely the show to come to,” Civic Arena General Manager Pete Wenzel said. “There is a little bit of everything here and it’s a great show to just come and take a look around at all of the things the dealers have to offer this year.”

The show opens on Friday afternoon and runs until 5:00 pm. On Saturday, guests can visit from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm while Sunday rounds out the weekend with hours from 12 noon until 5:00 pm. Admission is just $5 for adult with children 12 and under admitted for free.
