COCKY KID ROCK RETURNS TO CIVIC ARENA

Boasting the Huntington Civic Arena’s first sold out show in nearly three years just over a year ago, Kid Rock returns to the Huntington Civic Arena on Thursday, March 21, at 7:30 pm.
The Detroit-based bad boy takes to the road in support of his latest CD Cocky. The first single off the release “Forever” cracked the Top 10 on the Radio and Records charts while the follow-up, “Lonely Road of Faith” is generating a great deal of airplay on rock radio stations across the nation.

“This is exciting for the Civic Arena and the Tri-State rock fans,” Civic Arena Marketing Director Heath Brown said. “Kid Rock certainly has a following in this area and the phones have been ringing off the hook with people wanting to know if and when he was coming back. It’s definitely going to be a big night for Huntington.”

Last year, Kid Rock visited Huntington as part of The History of Rock tour which earned him a Grammy nomination for the hit “American Bad Ass.” The date, which included Fuel and Buckcherry, sold out two weeks prior to the show. Special guests for the upcoming appearance will be announced at a later date.

This Saturday at 10:00 am, tickets will go on sale at the Huntington Civic Arena Box Office, all Ticketmaster locations, and on-line at www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets will be priced at $28.50 for the show. The concert once again features general admission floor seating as well as reserved seating.
