The circus has come to town, and they set up shop on 7th Street yesterday.
Two large tents now block the way between the Huntington Civic Arena and Wendy's on 3rd Avenue and 7th Street. Citizens will not be able to use 7th Street to access Veterans' Memorial Blvd until after Sunday when the circus leaves town.
"The Greatest Show On Earth", The Ringling Brothers, Barnum & Bailey Circus will perform at the Arena Thursday through Sunday.
This is the 129th Edition of the 3-ring circus, this one featuring ringmaster Johnathan Lee Iverson.
Also included is a special time for children to meet the clowns and animals an hour before the show.
"The Greatest Show On Earth" has performances Thursday night at 7:30 p.m.; Friday at 10:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.; Saturday at 11:30 a.m., 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
