If any major changes to the list changes, then it shall be posted here on HNN so keep checking back. Here's the locations of where the scare is this season:
HUNTINGTON JAYCEES WKEE KYRPT: This event is in it's seventh year of scaring people each Holiday season. In recent years the event was held at the Veterans Memorial Field House. However this years event is being held at hte Moose Lodge on 9th street inbetween 5th and 6th Ave. Doors open at 7pm nightly up until Nov. 1. Tickets are $5 per head.
HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR: The annual event is offered from 5 to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays in October and Nov. 1 at Camden Park Featured are 20 rides plus a haunted train ride, hay bale maze, costumed characters, fortune telling, a fire-breathing dragon, concessions and more. Call (304) 429-4321.
FREE HAUNTED HOUSE: A haunted house is offered from 6:30 to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays in October at 809 13th St., Park Circle, Kenova. Free admission. Coffee and hot chocolate are served.
FUN DAYS: Halloween Harvest Fun Days are offered from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each Saturday in October at the Highlands Museum and Discovery Center, 1620 Winchester Ave., Ashland. Free with admission. Call (606) 329-8888.
HAUNTED HOUSE: The event, sponsored by Hager PTO School and Ashland Optimist Club, is offered Friday, Oct. 17, until Nov. 1 near Gatti-Land in Ashland. Admission is $5. Call Rocky Gibbs at Gatti-Land, (606) 329-8381.
HAUNTED TRAIL: Walk among the ghosts and goblins Friday-Saturday, Oct. 17-18 and Oct. 24-25, at Carter Caves State Resort Park, Greenup, Ky. Admission is $5. The Halloween spook-away is offered Oct. 25. Ghost stories are told Oct. 31. Admission is $2.
OCTOBERFEST: The 16th annual festival features food, entertainment, live animals, hayrides, arts and crafts, prizes and more from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, in Buffalo, W.Va. Call (304) 937-2619.
MASQUERADE: A fund-raiser costume party begins at 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at the Museum in the Community. The fee is $20 with a costume and $25 without a costume. Call (304) 562-0484.
"THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW": The Appalachian Regional Theatre presents performances at midnight Friday, Oct. 24, and 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at the Paramount Arts Center, 1300 Winchester Ave., Ashland. MAIZE: The Maize, owned and operated by Kim and Joyce Cooper, becomes full of ghosts and goblins in the field of screams Friday-Saturday, Oct. 24-25 and Oct. 31-Nov. 1, behind Milton Middle School. Hours are 5 to 10 p.m. Fridays and noon to 10 .m. Saturdays. Admission is $6.50 for 12 and over, $5.50 for ages 5-11 and free to children 4 and under. Call (304) 743-0548 or (304) 743-6174.
HALLOWEEN CONCERT: The Cabell Midland High School Orchestra presents the annual Halloween concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, at the schools auditorium. The concert, free to the public, features the string and full orchestras. Doors open at 7 p.m. Members of the orchestra dress in costume.
HAUNTED FIREHOUSE: A haunted house begins at 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, at the Fort Gay Volunteer Fire Department, 3014 Court St. Admission is $2 and $1 children under age 12. Call (304) 648-5325.
