Marshall Foundation updates membership

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. F. Selby Wellman and James Gibson have been elected to serve as directors of The Marshall University Foundation Inc., Foundation President John Jay White announced today.
Elections were conducted at the Foundations annual meeting on Oct. 16.
White said Wellman will serve through 2006 and Gibson will serve through 2005. They replace Nancy L. Francis and Ronald L. Hooser, who were inducted into the prestigious Circle of Gold as emeritus members of the Foundation.
Directors re-elected to a three-year term were Earl Heiner Jr.; A. Michael Perry; Vincent G. Manzi; Marshall T. Reynolds; Ann L. Speer, and Joseph B. Touma.
John Jay White remains as President of the Foundation through the 2003-2004 year. Other officers and members of the Executive Committee for this year are: Monica J. Hatfield, First Vice President; Gary G. White, Second Vice President; A. Michael Perry, Secretary; Philip E. Cline, Treasurer, and Vincent G. Manzi, Immediate Past President
Committee Chairs for 2003-2004 are: John Jay White; Facilities Committee; Philip E. Cline, Finance Committee; Earleen H. Agee, Gifts, Memorials & Income Committee; Joseph B. Touma, Investment Committee; Monica J. Hatfield, Liaison Committee, and Vincent G. Manzi, Nominating Committee.
Members to be renewed for a three-year term to expire in 2006 are: William M. Frazier; Monica J. Hatfield; Earl Heiner Jr.; J. Churchill Hodges; Vincent G. Manzi; Dan R. Moore; A. Michael Perry; Marshall T. Reynolds; Ann L. Speer; Joseph B. Touma, and Gary G. White.
New members to the Foundation with three-year terms to expire in 2006 are: Phyllis Arnold; Edsel R. Burns; James Gibson, and David G. Todd. Ronald H. Hooser is a new member, filling an unexpired term ending in 2005.
