Delicious Tri-State Tastes Coming to Arena

The inaugural Taste of the Tri-State showcases some of the area’s finest restaurants when they come together for one full day at Huntington’s Big Sandy Superstore Arena. The Tri-State’s finest cuisine consumes the Arena on Saturday, November 8 from 11:00 am – 7:00 pm.

Sample portion offerings of a wide array of the Tri-State’s top restaurants will be available throughout the day. Guests can dig into delicious sandwiches, tasty appetizers, scrumptious side dishes, and, of course, plenty of sinful dessert items throughout the day. Gourmet coffees and a variety of ice cold drinks will refresh the thirst of everyone.

Live local entertainment will be offered throughout the afternoon and those in attendance will have an opportunity to win prizes to be given away during the show. The Arena will have its own sports bar dining area for guests to relax and enjoy the tasty treats while viewing many of the day’s college football games.

"This is an event we have talked about for quite a while," Big Sandy Superstore Arena Director of Marketing Heath Brown said. "The Tri-State has so many great restaurants, we wanted to get them all together so they can show off what they do best to a whole new audience in a different setting. This is a show we’re really looking forward to building and expanding upon for the future."

Some of the area establishments expected to take part in the show include Laredo Steak and Seafood, Fiesta Bravo, Stewarts Hot Dogs, Chili Willie’s, Kentucky Blue Ribbon Pies and Cakes, Rebels and Redcoats, Clo-Bel’s, and Tapas just to name a few. Taste of the Tri-State is presented by WOWK TV 13, Trivantage Community Federal Credit Union, and Coca Cola.
